Thesis

This work focuses on the influence of historical events on literary genres, literary characters and people in different countries.

The aims of the work:

·        To show the influence of historical events on literary genres

·        To show the influence of historical events on literary characters

·        To show the influence of historical events on ordinary people

This topic has been chosen because it has always been actual at all times. This work is the result of an accurate practical research. The authors have worked at different sources such as books, newspaper articles, and even private letters. We have come to the conclusion that no matter where we live the history influences the features of people’s character and of course literary genres. The history of society is a stream of contradictory feelings – love and hate, kindness and badness. So we want to show how different people from different countries behave themselves at a certain period of history. Thinks to the wide material used during our research work, it has been possible to analyze and compare different points of view and make our own opinion. In our opinion this material may be useful for senior students interested in philology, wishing to choose their career in the field of philology.
